Well It has been a busy few weeks getting the website ready for launch and trying to get my stock organised for the Tynwald day fair (and squeezing a holiday in as well). You can't help but feel proud to be Manx being involved in the celebrations and it makes it more special knowing that all my work is inspired by this beautiful Island. All of the products I will be selling on my stall with my artwork on is all locally produced as well. Tynwald was founded more than a thousand years ago and it feels nice to be part of the tradition.
I have managed to get 2 brand new sets of coasters with all new designs on to join the current set available. I have also got prints on slate and limited edition prints in addition to the ceramic/porcelain jewellery and mugs. All will be for sale or order at the stall on the Tynwald fair field and the weather looks like its going to be okay so it will be great to see you all there. They will also be appearing on my etsy shop over the next week or so for anyone that can't make it tomorrow. Here is a sneak peak at one of the new sets.
It was also nice this week to hear that one of my designs has been selected for the Peel Traditional Boat weekend and will be printed onto children's T-shirts and available for sale. I'd like to say a big thank you to the committee for there support as it is always reassuring and nice when your work gets some recognition.
Hope you all enjoyed my first blog If anyone has any ideas for future topics or questions they would like to ask that they would like me to feature in any future blogs let me know.
